WHO warns about medication use
Geneva, April 9 (Hibya) – The World Health Organization (WHO) issued a warning regarding the use of medications.
The World Health Organization provided information about medication use, stating: “Not all medicines are the same.”
The statement emphasized that some medicines need to be taken at specific times, while others should be taken with food.
It was also noted that some medicines may interact with herbal products.
WHO stated that patients should consult healthcare professionals before using medications and highlighted the importance of asking questions such as: “What is this medicine for?”, “When and how should I take it?”, “How should I store it?”, “Does it interact with other medicines?” and “What are its side effects?”
