Zelenskiy: G7 agrees to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense
Kyiv, 17 June (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy commented on the G7 Summit held in France.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the summit produced important results for Ukraine, stating that the most critical issue was the agreement to further strengthen air defense capabilities.
Zelenskiy noted that new steps were agreed to increase pressure on Russia in order to achieve peace, and that partner countries would support defense and energy resilience.
Emphasizing that global unity reduces Russia’s capacity to attack Ukraine, Zelenskiy said: “It really reduces Russia’s ability to continue this insane and criminal aggression against Ukraine. I thank everyone who helps us.”
