Zelensky: Air raid sirens sounded in many of our cities
Kyiv, April 16 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the country is going through a difficult period due to large-scale Russian attacks targeting civilians across the country.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement regarding the scale of the attacks and civilian casualties.
Providing information about the current situation, Zelensky said: “Today is a very difficult day in Ukraine, truly another very difficult night – following a major Russian attack. In just one night, around 300 attack drones, 19 ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles were used.”
Referring to cities with casualties, Zelensky said: “Air raid sirens sounded in many of our cities. Dozens of people were injured. And unfortunately, there are fatalities in Odesa, Kyiv, and Dnipro. Ordinary people, children, civilians were killed because of Russian madness.”
Zelensky concluded: “If possible, please now honor their memory and the memory of all those who lost their lives in this terrible war with a minute of silence.”
