Zelensky: More than 200 repair teams are currently working in Kyiv alone
Kyiv, February 4 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he held a daily coordination meeting on the emergency situation in the energy sector following Russian attacks.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he held a daily coordination meeting on the emergency situation in the energy sector after the Russian attacks.
Zelensky noted that as of today the most difficult situation is in Kyiv and its surroundings, Kharkiv and its surroundings, the Sumy region and the Poltava region, adding that the situation is also difficult in other parts of central Ukraine, including the Dnipro and Cherkasy regions.
Zelensky said that more than 200 repair teams are currently working in Kyiv alone and that, according to the Ministry of Energy, this number will be increased to ensure proper rotation of team members, adding:
“We discussed in detail the protection of Zaporizhzhia from drones, the supply of interceptor drones, and the availability of trained crews. Separate instructions were issued on these matters to the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Minister of Defense.”
