Zelensky: We discussed air defense with US Vice President Vance
Kyiv, July 31 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that during a phone call with US Vice President JD Vance, they discussed air defense, Russia’s attacks, and the war’s impact on global markets.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he held a conversation with US Vice President JD Vance.
Zelensky said, “I had a productive phone call with US Vice President JD Vance.”
Noting that they also reviewed their recent meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington, Zelensky said, “As Russia’s air attacks continue without interruption, air defense, including Patriot interceptor missiles, especially against ballistic missiles, remains our highest priority.”
Zelensky said they also discussed the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on global markets. “We agreed that our teams would remain in contact and continue working on the issues we discussed today,” he stated.
Zelensky thanked the United States for its support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
