Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement following the meeting of the International Advisory Group on Investment Attraction and Economic Development of Ukraine.

Referring to the focus points of the meeting, Zelensky said, “Together with Oksana Markarova, we discussed various areas that are priority focuses in Ukraine’s relations with partners, especially in economic and investment relations.”

Pointing to the upcoming conference, President Zelensky said, “We are preparing to hold the Ukraine Recovery Conference in June; the event will take place in Gdansk. At today’s Advisory Group meeting, we discussed the key expectations for the conference.”

Emphasizing that political support should be strengthened through concrete steps, Zelensky stated, “We value the political support from our friends, and this support will become even stronger if it is backed by concrete, important flagship projects from the Government of Ukraine.”

Calling on the business world, Zelensky concluded his statement by saying, “Here, the role of business and Ukraine’s entrepreneurial energy must be decisive; we must combine Ukrainian interests with global corporate experience.”
