Elon Musk had announced that his Starlink satellites would support connectivity with internationally recognized aid organizations in Gaza.

Israeli Minister of Communication Karhi, in response to Musk's statement, stated that Israel would use all available means to combat this and said:

"The Palestinian Islamic Movement will use this place for terrorist activities. There is no doubt about it, we know this. Musk knows it too. The Palestinian Islamic Movement is ISIS. Perhaps Musk would like to condition this on the release of our abducted babies, sons, daughters, and elders. All of them. Until then, my office will cut all ties with Starlink."
