Prime Minister Abazović announced that Montenegro's first satellite, "Luca," will be launched in 2024.

Abazović revealed that in yesterday's meeting of the Montenegrin government, they approved a proposal for funding the "Luca" project, ensuring that the project costs are fully covered. He stated:

"Montenegro will initiate its own space program and will be among the most modern states creating new values. This way, we will become one of the regional leaders in this field. The 'Luca' satellite will serve educational and research purposes. The data collected will be used by our universities, professors, and students. The satellite will be equipped with a camera and sensors to measure solar particles and analyze solar storms."
