Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The current bird flu epidemic started in 2020 and led to the mass death of birds.

However, animals on land and at sea have also been affected by the disease, and earlier this month, several animals, including cows, surprised experts by joining the list of affected species.

According to WHO chief investigator Jeremy Farrar, the biggest concern is whether the virus will evolve further and be transmitted "from person to person".

So far, there is no evidence of transmission of the H5N1 virus between humans. Still, from the beginning of 2023 until April 1, 463 deaths were recorded in 889 cases in which people were infected after contact with animals.
