Abiy Ahmed said that during the meeting, Obasanjo, who played a role in managing the Biafra Peace Process in Nigeria, shared his experiences. He added that these experiences provide valuable contributions to Ethiopia's efforts to achieve national unity and lasting peace through dialogue.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed emphasized that dialogue and peace remain the top priorities of Ethiopia's national reconciliation process and thanked Obasanjo for his contributions to the initiative.
Abiy Ahmed said, "Ethiopia will continue to feel profound gratitude for your invaluable contributions."
