Al Khulaifi: Qatar is deeply concerned about developments in southern Syria
Doha, July 15 (Hibya) – Qatar’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, stated that the State of Qatar is following developments in the city of Sweida in southern Syria with deep concern, affirming that Syria's security is an integral part of regional stability.
Minister Al Khulaifi called for taking all necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such crimes.
He also stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to promote civil peace through dialogue and peaceful means.
The minister condemned Israel’s attacks on the city of Sweida, describing them as a clear violation of Syria’s sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter, and a serious threat to regional security.
Qatar reaffirmed its full support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and the aspirations of its brotherly people for a dignified life.
