Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand said they were deeply saddened by the loss of the police officer and highlighted his contributions to the community and the legacy he leaves behind.

Referring to Tarun Bali's sacrifices during his service, Minister Anand stated: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Provincial Constable Tarun Bali, who gave his life in service to others. His courage, dedication, and commitment to keeping Canadians safe will never be forgotten."

Offering condolences to his family, loved ones, and colleagues, Anand added: "My deepest sympathies go out to his family, loved ones, his OPP colleagues, and everyone mourning this tragic loss. May he rest in peace."
