In Chernihiv, two 15-year-old girls were killed in a daytime attack on the city center, while at least nine people, including children, were injured. Homes, businesses and vehicles were reportedly damaged. In Kremenchuk, in the Poltava region, two people were killed and nine others, including two children, were injured when a drone struck an apartment building. In central Zaporizhzhia, one person was injured after a minibus was hit by an FPV drone.

The statement also reported that a poultry farm housing approximately 16,000 birds was attacked in the Kyiv region. Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs argued that the attacks targeted places where people live, work and travel, accusing Russia of endangering civilian lives.

The ministry stated that Russia was not de-escalating its attacks against Ukraine. It noted that easing sanctions while the attacks continued would weaken pressure on Russia. The statement called for tighter sanctions targeting Russia's energy sector and war-making capabilities to help bring the attacks to an end.
