United States (US) Ambassador to Ankara and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in the Saudi capital Riyadh.

Barrack stated that diplomacy demonstrates its enduring power during periods of regional turmoil and chaotic interventions.

Noting that his contacts in Saudi Arabia reaffirmed this reality, Barrack said, “Standing side by side with our strong allies reminds us what true partnership means.” Barrack stressed that Saudi Arabia continues to be a “vital anchor” for regional stability.

Stating that peace should be advanced on the basis of shared values, mutual respect, and cooperation, Barrack emphasized the importance of acting together with allied countries.

Barrack concluded his statement by saying, “Together, the path becomes clearer.”
