Brendersen: We stand with the International Criminal Court
Amsterdam, March 26 (Hibya) - Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Brendersen emphasized that justice depends on functioning institutions and reiterated the Netherlands’ support for the work of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Dutch Foreign Minister Brendersen stated the following during his meeting with ICC President Judge Tomoko Akane:
“Justice depends on institutions that can do their job. We discussed the vital work of the ICC and will continue to support these efforts. The Netherlands stands firmly behind the ICC and works with its partners to safeguard the Court’s functioning and security.”
