Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Budrys made notable statements regarding Europe’s Russia policy.

Budrys criticized allowing the Kremlin to determine who would speak with Russia on behalf of Europe, stating, “What will be discussed with Russia should also be questioned.”

Emphasizing that European countries must first agree on common demands, Budrys said that Europe should clearly define its own strategic goals and the diplomatic power it possesses.

The Lithuanian minister stated that talks with Russia would have no meaning before these preparations are completed and added that contacts under the current conditions should not even be brought onto the agenda.

Budrys’ remarks came at a time when possible diplomatic contacts with Russia are once again being debated in Europe.
