Istanbul, August 26 (Hibya) - US markets showed a positive performance during the week's trading session.

The NASDAQ index rose 0.66 percent to 26,151.30 points. The NASDAQ 100 index gained 0.64 percent to reach 29,209.228 points.
The Russell 2000 (RUSS 2K) index rose 0.50 percent and traded at 3,010.022 points, while the S&P 500 index advanced 0.32 percent to 7,677.28 points.
The Dow Jones (DJIA) index gained 0.30 percent and closed the day at 53,577.40 points.
