Carney stated that under the “Buy Canadian” policy, the government will default to Canadian suppliers when making expenditures.
Carney said the policy will create more jobs for Canadians and added that, alongside the use of Canadian-made products and materials in public spending, communities and businesses across the country will also be supported.
