Cassis: The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina strengthens democratic institutions
Sarajevo, February 20 (Hibya) - Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met with the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina team and discussed the organization’s operational capacity and its contributions to democratic institutions.
During his visit to Sarajevo, Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met with members of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Commenting on the meeting, Cassis said, “I was pleased to meet with the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina team. Their work strengthens sustainable democratic institutions, good governance, and human rights.”
Cassis also reiterated the key strategies he will focus on during his OSCE Chairmanship, stating, “I reiterated my priorities during the OSCE Chairmanship, which include adhering to the Helsinki principles, promoting inclusive multilateral dialogue, and ensuring the Organization’s operational capacity. Thank you for your warm welcome and dedication.”
