Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis thanked the rescue teams for their efforts following the accident in the region and said they had expressed Switzerland’s full support for the Netherlands.

Sharing the condolence message, Cassis said: “Together with the Government of Graubünden, we conveyed our deepest condolences to the victims of the tragic accident in Unterengadin and their loved ones.”

Referring to the teams on the ground and his counterpart, Cassis said: “We thank the rescue teams and the authorities for their tremendous efforts. I expressed Switzerland’s full support to my Dutch counterpart.”
