Cooper: We stand with the Caribbean in this time of crisis
London, October 29 (Hibya) – UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper stated that the United Kingdom is supporting the Caribbean following Hurricane Melissa.
UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said in her statement that the United Kingdom stands with the Caribbean following Hurricane Melissa. Cooper added:
“We have established a £2.5 million fund for urgent UK assistance and are deploying experts to help communities respond, recover and rebuild. We stand with the Caribbean in this time of crisis.”
