Manila, July 23 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, met Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong on the sidelines of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF 2026) in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.

According to Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between Pakistan and Australia and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation, including through regular high-level engagements.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional and international developments.
Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong praised Pakistan's constructive role in promoting dialogue and de-escalation.
The two sides noted that recent tensions in the region are a cause for concern and agreed that dialogue, diplomacy, and respect for international law are essential for achieving lasting peace, stability, and security.
