Dar stated that in recent days Gaza has experienced a severe shortage of food and that women and children, in particular, are dying of hunger.

He noted that he discussed the current food supply situation and the approaching famine in Gaza with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and approved the immediate dispatch of two consignments of food and basic humanitarian aid (200 tons). He also gave the necessary orders for all arrangements and coordination to be made.

Dar emphasized that the international community must urgently act to ensure uninterrupted access to food and life-saving aid, stating, "Pakistan stands in unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people."
