German athlete Dahlmeier has died
Berlin, July 30 (Hibya) – German biathlete Laura Dahlmeier died in an accident during a climbing expedition in Pakistan.
According to CNN, double Olympic champion Laura Dahlmeier died at the age of 31 in a climbing accident, a fact confirmed by her management and the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB).
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated on social media that he was deeply saddened by the news of Dahlmeier's death and emphasized that she made history in German biathlon as a world and Olympic champion.
Merz expressed his condolences to Dahlmeier’s family, friends, and companions.
