Dutch Prime Minister Jetten met with Macron
Paris, March 11 (Hibya) - Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten visited French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris.
During the meeting, the serious situation around Iran, the latest developments in Ukraine, and cooperation regarding the defense of allies and partners in the region were discussed.
Jetten stated that the Netherlands had sent an air defense frigate to the Eastern Mediterranean at France’s request. Prime Minister Jetten also said that they welcome the efforts to strengthen defense in Europe and that Macron’s proposal to strengthen European nuclear deterrence is an important step in this context.
