EU Council approves defense funding for eight EU countries
Brussels, February 11 (Hibya) - The European Union (EU) Council has approved defense funding for eight EU member countries under the European Security Action Plan (SAFE).
The EU Council adopted a decision to provide financial aid to eight EU member states (Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Spain, Croatia, Portugal, and Romania) under the European Security Action Plan (SAFE).
The second part of the Council's decisions on financial aid for Estonia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, and Finland was approved by EU ambassadors, and is expected to be officially adopted by the Council on February 17.
