European Council President Costa hosts Dutch Prime Minister Jetten in Brussels
Brussels, March 3 (Hibya) – European Council President Antonio Costa met with newly appointed Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
European Council President Antonio Costa received the Netherlands’ new Prime Minister Rob Jetten in Brussels.
Costa said: “I am pleased to welcome Rob Jetten to Brussels and to personally congratulate him on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Netherlands. We discussed our ambitious EU agenda for the coming months, focused on defense, security and strengthening competitiveness.”
Referring to the importance of the European Council meeting in March, Costa added: “The European Council in March will make concrete commitments to enhance the EU’s competitiveness and set timelines. We look forward to welcoming you again to the Council in two weeks.”
