Czech Prime Minister Fiala emphasized that Europe must shed its image of weakness towards Russia and continue progressing from complacency to responsibility.

He stated that Russian aggression showed the West must be prepared, cohesive, and clear on its priorities. “If Europe wants to remain safe and strong, there are three key areas it needs to improve,” he said.

Fiala added, “The security crisis reveals who is ready to act and take responsibility. And while Europe faces threats, a new wave of cooperation between the Czech Republic, Denmark, and the Netherlands is encouraging.”
