Fletcher said in a post on his social media account that, for some people, the process was about “stepping aside, listening and learning.”
Fletcher said the message from the leaders of local humanitarian organizations was clear, adding that there was a need for “a genuine shift in power and mindset” across the humanitarian sector.
Fletcher also noted that humanitarian workers need greater protection and more funding.
