Foreign ministers of Kazakhstan and Belarus met in Astana
Astana, April 14 (Hibya) – Kazakhstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu met with Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov in Astana. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, and transportation.
Nurtleu stated that he hosted Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov in Astana as part of his first official visit, saying: “I am pleased to welcome the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maksim Ryzhenkov, to Kazakhstan on the occasion of his first official visit.”
Emphasizing that the talks focused on developing economic cooperation between the two countries, Nurtleu said: “We held productive discussions on enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, and transportation, as well as further strengthening bilateral relations.” Nurtleu also highlighted that contacts with his Belarusian counterpart would contribute to further strengthening bilateral ties.
