Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated that they welcome the agreement reached between the United States (U.S.) and Iran to halt hostilities and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Prime Minister Frederiksen said, “We welcome the U.S. agreement with Iran to stop the conflicts and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. This development is important for regional and global security and stability.”

Frederiksen noted that she appreciates the diplomatic efforts of the partners who contributed to achieving the agreement and emphasized the importance of reducing tensions through diplomacy.

Frederiksen also stressed that Denmark will continue to support efforts aimed at ensuring freedom of navigation on international maritime routes.
