Israeli President Isaac Herzog held a meeting with U.S. Special Envoy Jared Kushner and High Representative of the Peace Council Nickolay Mladenov.

Herzog said that during the meeting held at the President's Residence, efforts to move the process in Gaza to the next stage were discussed.

Following the meeting, Herzog said, “I am grateful to them for their ongoing efforts to move to the next stages in Gaza in accordance with President Trump’s 20-Point Plan.”

Herzog said he was pleased that Israel’s security interests are an important and central element of the plan, adding, “I appreciate and support their efforts to ensure a brighter and safer future for the people of Israel, the people of Gaza and all the people of the region.”
