Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited the Directorate of Defense Research and Development (MAPAT) within the Ministry of Defense.

Sharing his assessment of Israel's technological and security infrastructure, Herzog said, "Israel is a powerhouse of revolutionary and innovative developments and technologies. When I visited MAPAT, I witnessed the technological strength of the State of Israel and the groundbreaking innovations at the forefront of the State of Israel's security capabilities."

Noting that he met with experts working in the defense sector, Herzog said, "I met the best and brightest minds working day and night to make us safer, and I saw developments across many different fields."

Concluding his remarks with an emphasis on security and independence, Herzog said, "I learned about the lessons and insights gained throughout the war, as well as the steps being taken to strengthen Israel's technological independence."
