Herzog: We discussed the historic ties between Israel and Hungary
Budapest, October 20 (Hibya) - Israeli President Isaac Herzog announced that he discussed the historic relations between the two countries and the fight against antisemitism during his meeting with Hungarian President Andras Baka.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog stated that he was welcomed in Budapest by Hungarian President Andras Baka. Herzog congratulated Baka on his recent election as president and wished him success in his duties.
Herzog said the meeting addressed the longstanding historic ties between Israel and Hungary, adding that he had invited Baka to visit Israel.
Herzog thanked Baka for Hungary's strong and determined stance against antisemitism and attempts to question Israel's legitimacy.
