High-level development consultation held for Pakistan’s 2026–27 budget
Islamabad, June 5 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister’s Office announced that a high-level consultation meeting was held as part of the preparations for the 2026–27 fiscal year budget.

According to Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met with officials related to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
During the meeting, the province’s development priorities, ongoing and planned projects, and measures aimed at enhancing economic growth and public welfare were discussed.
It was emphasized that key development needs should be reflected more strongly in the federal budget.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Special Adviser Tariq Bajwa, along with senior provincial and federal officials.
