In the IDF statement, it was noted: “At a distance of approximately 2,300 kilometers, the Israeli Air Force recently struck an Iranian refueling aircraft located at Mashhad Airport in eastern Iran. The Air Force continues its operations aimed at achieving air superiority across Iran. This attack is the most distant airstrike carried out since the beginning of the operation.”
