The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that two members of armed groups were killed in airstrikes carried out in the central and northern Gaza Strip.

According to the IDF statement, Humus Humis Akasha Abu Rish, who was said to have operated as a sniper within Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), was killed in a strike in central Gaza. The statement alleged that he had recently carried out sniper attacks against Israeli forces.

In another strike in northern Gaza, Mohammed Taysir Ahmed Abid, who was said to have served as a department head at a Hamas operations center, was killed.
