According to a statement from Bulgaria's Ministry of Economy, Investment and Industry, the award was presented in recognition of the agency's successful liquidity support and insurance solutions for exporting companies and businesses engaged in international transport.

The statement noted that BAEZ's guarantee program has facilitated transport companies' access to working capital, helped defer leasing payments, and strengthened the sector's competitiveness. The CFI.co judging panel also praised BAEZ for its innovative approach and the effective financial solutions it developed within a short period.
