Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten said during the WorldPride Human Rights Conference that they would continue the fight for equal rights both globally and across the Netherlands.

Emphasizing human rights and equality, Jetten said: "Equal rights for everyone, everywhere in the world, regardless of your identity or who you love. That is what the WorldPride Human Rights Conference in Amsterdam is all about. Leaders and activists from around the world have gathered here to share their stories and ideas."

Referring to measures against discrimination and hatred, Jetten stated: "At the same time, this is an opportunity to reflect on the hatred that still exists toward LGBTQI people, including in the Netherlands."

Highlighting equality, Jetten added: "That is why I announced that we will launch a campaign against online discrimination and invest additional resources in the safety of queer people. In this way, we are taking steps toward a Netherlands where everyone is equal."
