Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made a statement regarding the diplomatic depth between the two countries and the foundations of economic cooperation.

Referring to the historical development of the relations, Lavrov said, “Since India gained independence, Russia-India relations have evolved into a special and privileged strategic partnership.”

Highlighting the factors strengthening cooperation, Lavrov concluded his statement by saying, “These relations are further strengthened by the trust-based personal relations between our leaders and the natural complementarity of our economies.”
