Luxon: National will not introduce new taxes
Wellington, September 8 (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said the National Party would not introduce new taxes.
New Zealand Prime Minister Luxon said other parties wanted to tax holidaying in New Zealand. He said the National Party would not introduce an accommodation tax, capital gains tax or land tax.
Luxon said the Labour Party and its partners had proposed nine new taxes during the election and that Labour had failed to explain how its “free” promises would be funded.
