Macron: Social media age limit decision is a victory for protecting our children
Paris, July 14 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed the European Commission’s decision allowing member states to ban social media use for children under a certain age.
Macron said the decision is an important step toward protecting children, stating: “This is a victory for protecting our children. We’ve been working on this for years.”
He emphasized that France will fulfill its responsibility in this area and is ready to implement the necessary regulations.
