French President Emmanuel Macron said numerous agreements aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries were signed during Vietnamese President To Lam’s visit to Paris.

Macron said the agreements signed today gave concrete substance to the two countries’ strategic and comprehensive partnership.

Macron said the agreements reflect the depth of the historic relations between France and Vietnam and the strengthening of ties between the two countries, adding that France’s friendship and respect for Vietnam have been further reinforced.

Macron said: “We aspire to do more together.”
