Meloni and Carney send message on strengthening Italy–Canada cooperation
Evian, 16 June (Hibya) - Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney during the G7 Summit to assess the implementation of the strengthened cooperation plan between the two countries.
Italian Prime Minister Meloni held a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Carney on the sidelines of the G7 Evian Summit.
Meloni said the meeting reviewed the implementation status of the enhanced cooperation action plan between Italy and Canada.
Both sides agreed on further developing cooperation and strengthening existing partnerships, Meloni noted, emphasizing that the meeting was important for the future of bilateral relations.
The meeting was part of bilateral engagements held by leaders during the G7 Summit.
