In a post on her social media account, Metsola said the world is going through a period of "permanent crisis," noting that in times like these, Europe's response is cooperation rather than conflict.
Pointing to the importance of Europe building win-win partnerships with its allies around the world, Metsola said: "This is Europe's way. This is how we all move forward."
