Mixed performance in American stock markets
Istanbul, September 17 (Hibya) - Stock market indices across the Americas ended the day predominantly in negative territory.
The Dow Jones fell sharply by 1.21 percent to 51,461.90 points, while the SP 500 lost 0.45 percent and closed at 7,551.81 points.
In Latin American markets, Bovespa fell 0.51 percent and Colombia's COLCAP declined 2.16 percent, while Peru's S&P Lima General index diverged positively, rising 0.71 percent.
