Investors entered the new trading day cautiously in global markets, with U.S. stock index futures moving in different directions.

Dow Jones futures rose 0.04 percent to 51,913.00 points. In contrast, S&P 500 futures slipped 0.05 percent to 7,441.50 points, while technology-heavy Nasdaq futures fell 0.28 percent to 28,542.00 points.

In commodity markets, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil declined 0.55 percent to $91.68, extending the weak trend in energy prices.

In the bond market, the yield on the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury note increased by 0.005 percentage points to 4.708 percent, maintaining its upward trend.

The mixed performance in futures markets suggests that investors continue to closely monitor corporate earnings, macroeconomic data and interest rate expectations.
