According to a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mustafa said, “This conference is a promise to the Palestinian people, a commitment that historical injustice must end. What is happening in Gaza is the latest and most brutal manifestation of this, and now more than ever, it is imperative that we act.”

Mustafa emphasized that the conference sends a message to the Palestinian people: “The world supports our right to live in freedom, dignity, and peace; it stands with us in our struggle to achieve our rights and a sovereign state. It is also a message to the Israeli people that a path to peace and regional integration exists.”
