Netanyahu: Investigation into election interference allegations is being obstructed
Tel Aviv, November 3 (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared a statement issued by the Likud Party, accusing Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara of obstructing the investigation into allegations of election interference.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared a post relaying the Likud Party's allegations that Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara had prevented investigations involving Ahmed Tibi, Mansour Abbas, Sami Abu Shahadeh and another member of parliament from proceeding.
The statement further alleged that Baharav-Miara had prevented the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) from using investigative methods for security offenses and had sought to conceal the security-related nature of the case from the public. The Likud Party characterized this conduct as obstruction of the investigation into election interference allegations and discriminatory enforcement of the law.
