New Zealand Prime Minister Luxon inspects damage in Te Araroa
Te Araroa, January 23 (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon carried out inspections in areas damaged by flooding and landslides.
New Zealand Prime Minister Luxon today inspected on site the destruction caused by the landslide and flooding disaster in the Te Araroa region. Following the inspection, Luxon went to the Tokaratangi Rugby Club, where he met with affected members of the local community.
In a social media post, the Prime Minister said: “Seeing the scale of the devastation facing communities today was challenging. I inspected the landslide damage in Te Araroa and then met with affected residents at the Tokaratangi Rugby Club.”
